The earliest reference to the Fuerstenhof goes all the way back to the year 1187.
For more than 350 years royalty of the Hohenstaufen and
Habsburg dynasties, such as the Emperors Frederick III and
Maximilian I, were frequent guests. About 1600 the building has been
transformed into an aristocratic palace in the Italian fashion.
In 1764 the alderman and trader Johann Christian Fehr
added the Londoner Hof.
Its rococo-style facade is accompanied by a beautiful stair-case.
Hotel Fuerstenhof with its 56 spacious rooms
furnished in the old English style is the perfect setting for your stay in
Kempten. Every room offers en-suite facilities and features such equipment as a
direct-dialling phone, a radio and cable TV. The underground car-park provides parking places for 22 vehicles.
