Positive aspects:
The staff at the Golden Tulip was very kind to me. My German is very poor, and their English was very good. I was especially appreciative, because a piece of my luggage had been lost in the US. When it arrived in Frankfurt, Lufthansa arranged to have it driven to Wolfenbüttel, whereupon one of Golden Tulip's employees brought it to my room. I loved the town and am involved in ongoing reseach of Gotthold Lessing (1729-1781) who lived and worked in Wolfenbüttel at the Herzog Bibliotheque. I am anxious to come back, and I will again stay at the Golden Tulip. I also remember that the young woman who checked me in on 25 May was pregnant. I hope she has a healthy child. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I look forward to my next visit. Lastly, I enjoy German trains, and it was very convenient for me that Golden Tulip in Wolfenbüttel is so close to the train station. Vielen Dank. Thomas Kolba
