Positive aspects:
The hotel was beautiful. Very "Bavarian", especially the gorgeous breakfast room. The staff were amazing; friendly, helpful, polite. The complimentary breakfast buffet was outstanding.....delicious, fresh and plentiful. Our room was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. The towels are out of this world!! I have never seen bath sheets in hotel rooms before! The bed was very comfortable and the fetter-betts were awesome. (I wish we had those in Canada!) The location was perfect. A lovely 5 minute walk to the U-bahn, and the area was very nice. Lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Munich!

Negative aspects:
only one thing, and it is not in any way the hotel's fault. The S-bahn goes right past the hotel, and is a tad loud. Normally (to my understanding)they stop running at around 22:00, but because we were there for Oktoberfest they ran 24 hours a day, so it was a bit hard to fall asleep the first night. It was something that you get used too, and again in no way a fault of the hotel.
