Hotel Furstenhof
|
The first mention of the Frstenhof dates back to the year 1187.
For over 350 years the crowned heads of the Hohenstaufen and
Habsburg dynasties, for example the Emperors Frederick III and
Maximilian I, often stayed here. Around 1600 the house was
converted into a patrician palace in the Italian style.
In 1764 the alderman and merchant Johann Christian Fehr
added the Londoner Hof.
Its rococo faade is complemented by a magnificent staircase.
