Positive aspects:
This was a very nice, comfortable hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, and the room was a beautiful traditional Bavarian eating area. There was a laptop computer set up in the common area so that people could use the Internet, which was convenient. We received a free pass for all public transportation -- trains, streetcars, and buses.

Negative aspects:
Since the hotel is located in the central area of the city, there is some noise from pedestrians (no cars, as this is a pedestrian zone). However, we did not find this to be a big problem.

Positive aspects:
It was charming to stay somewhere so old, and the restaurant was delightful. It was right in the heart of the pedestrian district.

Negative aspects:
Only that the street maps and directions we had were not clear. We were driving and wound up on the pedestrian street to the stern disapproval of the townspeople. We also had to pay to park and schlep our bags across the cobblestones, but such is life in the old city.
