Radisson SAS Gewandhaus Hotel Dresden DresdenIn the baroque heart of Dresden lies the Radisson SAS Gewandhaus Hotel. Originally built as a warehouse in 1770, the historic Gewandhaus was reduced to rubble due to heavy bombing in 1945. Rebuilt in the 60s as a hotel, this remarkable building became a five star Radisson SAS Hotel in 1997. The hotel is beautiful designed and has a spacious glass-domed inner court that forms the centre of the hotel with the restaurant, bar, lobby lounge, an open fireplace and conference rooms around it. The hotel is within walking distance of the Semper Opera House, the Church of our Lady, the Zwinger, Bruhl terrace and several museums.The Radisson SAS Gewandhaus Hotel Dresden with 97 rooms features their guests high-speed wireless Internet access free of charge in the whole building. The Standard rooms are equipped with a queen-size-bed, minibar, three telephones, TV, radio, trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities. The luxurious marble bathrooms dispose of a Jacuzzi or a spacious shower cabin out of glass. Size of the room: 17-21 sqm. In addition, the Business Class rooms are at the disposal of our guests.
