Located in the Berlin's Mitte district, the Apartments Berlin-Mitte Checkpoint Charlie offers spacious self-catering apartments. The apartment is situated in a new building (built in 2001) which was designed by Nalbach & Nalbach Architects, a well-known architect couple in Berlin. The attractive façade of the building boasts large windows, an impressive entrance and a stylish staircase. Guests will enjoy excellent transport connections to all attractions of the German capital.
In the district guests will admire buildings by well-known architects including Aldo Rossi, Peter Eisenman and Philipp Johnson. The neighborhood was partially intersected by the Berlin Wall, the traces of which are barely visible today. The main points of interest are Checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin Wall Museum and the Friedrichstraße shopping mile around the corner. The famous Potsdamer Platz square, Martin-Gropius-Bau building and Topography of Terror exhibition are about 20 minutes away on foot. The renowned boulevard Unter den Linden boulevard and symbolic Brandenburg Gate are just a short stroll to the north. Discover the area’s elegant boutiques, department stores and restaurants. You will also find several supermarkets and a medical centre nearby. The underground network in Berlin’s district of Mitte is particularly concentrated. You can quickly reach all major attractions within the capital. Several bus stops and the Kochstraße and Stadtmitte underground stops are just a 5-minute stroll away. The stylish Apartments Checkpoint Charlie are 65 m2 in size and can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. In the living room guests will find a comfortable sofa bed (155x200 cm), wardrobe, 2 cosy chairs, a cable TV with a 22" screen, and a CD player (also suitable for MP3s). You will also find a dining area for 4-5 people with a sideboard. The bedroom provides a comfortable queen-size bed (180x200 cm) or twin beds (90x200 cm), bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a radio clock. Double beds or twin beds cannot be guaranteed.

The comprehensively equipped kitchen offers everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Welcome extras include a dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, and coffee machine.

The bright, newly tiled bathroom (approximately 6.5 m2 in size) offers a granite vanity table with a large mirror. Look forward to a generously sized bathtub with an attractive glass shower screen, as well as a designer WC.
